Enjoy the HARVEST and take your feast outside this season with your family and loved ones in the great outdoors!

BBQ your turkey on your BBQ and make up these delicious, seasonal sides to go along with your FEAST that you can also make up on the Q:

Dice up sweet potatoes and drizzle with maple syrup and butter – cook in a foil package and set aside to keep warm

Chop up brussels sprouts into little slices:  roast in a BBQ grilling basket with chopped bacon and olive oil.  Add shredded parmesan cheese and salt and pepper and place in a foil package and set aside.

Baked Potato:  wrap in foil and bake.  Remove foil when soft and drizzle with butter and fresh chives.  Place in a glass baking pan and keep warm on the top rack of the BBQ.  Conversely, you can cook the potatoes til soft, remove and mash with potato masher and add butter and sour cream and a little chopped fresh garlic.  Add salt and pepper and place in glass bowl to keep warm.

Green and yellow beans:  trim and place in grilling basket and toss with olive oil.  Add sliced  almonds and cook on BBQ til tender.  Keep in foil on top rack to keep warm.

Chop carrot, onion, celery and parsnips and pumpkin into chunks and place in foil package.  Add olive oil, cinnamon and salt and pepper.  Cook on grill til firm-tender and keep in foil to stay warm.  Add a drizzle of maple syrup when ready to serve!  Yum!

Slice zucchini in a thick bias cut and toss in olive oil.  Place on grill to cook firm-tender only and turn with grill marks on each side.  Place into baking dish to keep warm on rack.  Sprinkle with garlic salt and fresh ground pepper.

Toss up a delicious cabbage salad with chopped cabbage (red and green), with grated carrot, beets, diced apple and toss with a light ranch dressing.  Add toasted pecans and toss.

Use your turkey pan to make up the gravy right on the grill.  Keep chilled cranberry sauce ready to go.
